Not all Central Station Monitoring is the same. When considering
having your security system or fire system monitored by a central
station it is important to consider the level and quality of service
that you will be receiving. A cheaper price doesn’t necessarily mean
a better deal, but instead may mean a reduced level of service.
Our Central Monitoring station is on the watch for you around the
clock. Systems are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a
team of professionals at our UL listed, FM approved monitoring
center. With redundancy built into every part of the monitoring
station we are always there for you. When there is an alarm at your
home or business, a signal is sent over your phone line (toll-free) to
the Central Station. Trained operators will respond to the
emergency numbers and information you provide and take the
appropriate action depending on the type of alarm you have:
- Burglary
- Fire
- Medical
- Temperature
Qualify for an annual alarm discount on your home owners
insurance premium. Most North American insurance companies will
grant a 10-20% discount for professionally monitored security
systems. Vanguard Security will provide a Central Station Monitored
Alarm Certificate to all monitoring subscribers.
Now VSC subscribers can link up to the station house too!
We added a new secure section to our Central Station web site that
allows subscribers to access their own account information from
anywhere they have web access. Whether in the office or on
vacation, they will have the ability to view their account information,
place their system on and off test, obtain test results and get
account history. In addition, they can submit a request to make
changes to their account directly!

NOTE: Many cities and townships now require a permit before an alarm system
can be monitored by a Central Station. It is the responsibility of the subscriber to
obtain this permit and forward Vanguard Security Corporation (VSC) a copy.
Please check with your local Police and Fire Departments before subscribing for
service. Any fees associated with obtaining this permit, or fines resulting from not
obtaining this permit will be the customers’ responsibility.
